(Carlisle, Pa.) - The Carlisle law firm, Saidis Flower & Lindsay announces that real estate law and land development attorney, Suzanne C. Hixenbaugh, Esq. will serve the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as a hearing committee member, starting July 1, 2006.
The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court assists the Supreme Court in carrying out its exclusive jurisdiction over the licensing and discipline of attorneys in Pennsylvania. As a hearing committee member, Hixenbaugh will serve a three year term and fulfill the duties of hearing cases and reviewing files concerning attorneys located within the District III disciplinary district, which represents Central Pennsylvania. After analyzing a case, she and other hearing committee members will make recommendations to the board concerning attorney discipline.
Hearing committee members are attorneys appointed by the Disciplinary Board, and serve on a voluntary, unpaid basis. Eligible attorneys are nominated by Disciplinary Board members based on their reputation among the legal community.

Hixenbaugh earned her B.S. at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and attended law school at George Washington University. Prior to joining the Carlisle law firm, she practiced real estate law in Denver, Colo. She joined Saidis, Flower & Lindsay as an associate in 2005, and currently practices in the areas of real estate law, land development, land use and zoning, eminent domain, and business and corporate development.
