Prior to joining Sanchez Fischer Levine, Monica worked as a prosecutor for the State of Florida in Miami’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit, where she served as trial counsel and worked on a variety of criminal matters.
Monica earned her Juris Doctorate from Fordham Law School in New York, where she focused her studies in the areas of Litigation & Dispute Resolution and International Law. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Judge Joseph F. Bianco of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Attorney’s Office, and the Nationwide ACLU – Racial Justice Program. Monica was also a part of the International Law Journal and Trial Team, and was member of the Walter Leitner International Human Rights Clinic. In her spare time, Monica volunteered for the International Refugee Assistance Project.
