SFL Partner David Levine successfully obtained Final Judgment and entitlement to fees on behalf of Firm client, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., against tour operator Cox & Kings for breach of contract, tortious interference and other related claims. The Southern District of Florida issued the 10-page Order on December 10, 2019, awarding Royal Caribbean Cruises damages and reserving jurisdiction to award attorneys’ fees and costs. Royal Caribbean Cruises initiated the action after Cox & Kings failed to honor its contractual obligations to provide excursion tours to Royal Caribbean Cruises passengers and guests.
